Hot Toddy Recipe with Apple Cider and Bourbon

(This Post is Sponsored by Mike’s Hard Lemonade)

Yeah, I’m pretty sure this Hot Toddy Recipe with Apple Cider and Bourbon will be your new drink of choice this holiday season once you get a sip.  It’s incredibly easy to make, super delicious and dang it just might help your soar throat :-).  There are a few different ways to serve up this Hot Toddy Recipe with Apple Cider and Bourbon, the first one being in a glass like I did in the video or by keeping it in a warm crock of some sort so that people can ladle it in their own glass as often as they’d like.   To be honest I’m not much of a fan of a traditional hot toddy because it’s a bit bland, but with all the goodness that goes in this Hot Toddy Recipe with Apple Cider and Bourbon it’s very likable.

The base for this Hot Toddy Recipe with Apple Cider and Bourbon is Mike’s Hard Lemonade because of it’s tasty lemon flavor that compliments the rest of the ingredients so perfectly.  The trick however is to make sure it’s at room temperature or else you are going to have a luke warm Hot Apple Toddy.  To me the part that makes this recipe is the fact that it’s hot because let me tell you something, it’s freezing up here in Chicago so anything hot I’ll take!  The temperature in this drink comes from heating the apple cider until it begins to boil and from there you simply combine all of the ingredients together in a glass, simple as that!
