This Frozen Cafe Mochas Recipe is made with espresso, ice, chocolate sauce and incredible oat milk for an amazing flavor.

We are huge coffee drinkers in our house and the second the weather turns then I am all about frozen mochas.  Frozen Mochas are the perfect afternoon pick me up drink on those warm afternoons.  When it’s super-hot in the dog days of summer I actually drink them as soon as I wake up as well.

Frozen Mochas are also awesome to serve up when entertaining guests during the Springtime.  May definitely seems like one of those months where there is a ton going on.  Whether it’s a graduation or baby showers, May is absolutely rocking!

As a food blogger and studio owner, my space is rented out and jam-packed through the month of May for people celebrating events!  I should tell them this Frozen Mochas Recipe should make it onto their menu :-).

How to Make a Frozen Mocha

Anyone can serve up coffee when entertaining, but now that the weather has officially turned, why not make and serve up some homemade frozen mochas?  Making homemade Frozen Mochas is actually way easier then you may have thought. The refrigerated aisle at the grocery store is home to so much more than dairy products and endless possibilities, and since my wife is obsessed with oat milk I figured it was a great opportunity to pick up some

My wife started using Planet Oat Oatmilk as her creamer in her coffee and loved just how creamy it was, so for me, it was a no brainer when making and serving up these frozen mochas to our guests.  While we aren’t hitting any milestones this May, we frequently are entertaining, and these Frozen Mochas are a hit with our friends and family.

You need to start off making these Frozen Mochas by brewing up some espresso.  If you don’t have an espresso maker don’t worry just brew some extra strong coffee.

Don’t go too crazy because you’re only going to need about a cup of that strong coffee or espresso.  Once it is brewed, add it to a blender with some ice, the Planet Oat Oatmilk, and chocolate syrup and blend until you’ve got a delicious smooth frozen mocha!

I love serving these mochas up in a tall Irish coffee glass because it looks really pretty and it’s such a fun way to present them to your guests.

To keep this more on the dairy-free side, I topped off these Frozen Mochas with seriously the most amazing whipped topping of all time, and no it doesn’t have cream in it!  Give a nice big heaping scoop of So Delicious Dairy Free CocoWhip.  Try your hardest not to eat it all before putting it on the Frozen Mochas.

I usually like to finish off the Frozen Mochas with a little more chocolate sauce and shaved chocolate!  These mochas are awesome and such a fun alternative to the everyday coffee to serve up during your May celebrations and gatherings!
