Smoked Country Style Ribs with Mustard BBQ Sauce and Texas Toast

First off, drop a comment below in the comments section and tell me your favorite bbq dish to eat for a chance to win a $50 gift card!! I’ve been having a ball the past 2 years whipping up delicious smoked goodies out on my smoker.  From smoked salmon, to chicken to pulled pork, I’ve been loving experimenting and of course eating all of it.  Something about being outside smoking food and then lighting up the grill to finish it off is just so therapeutic. The grill to me means spring, summer and fall, which in Chicago, means nice weather…

Mediterranean Turkey Burger with Zucchini Fritter and French Remoulade

Every summer that comes along I always get pressured to buy turkey burgers by the pound at least once a week from my wife, so I whipped up this Mediterranean Turkey Burger with Zucchini Fritter and French Remoulade.  She is literally obsessed with turkey burgers, as are my in-laws, so every time I make them they seem to make arrangements to come over J; Needless-to-say, I live with Turketarains!  If you aren’t sure what that is, it’s someone who has taken the concept of eating turkey as much as possible to another level.  Now I’m not saying that it’s all…

Grilled Chicken Satay with Sweetened Soy Noodles

I love simple foods, both to make and eat, and this Chicken Satay with Sweetened Soy Noodles is that to the T.  Big flavor, easy to prepare, and something a little different is what I am always on the lookout for.  If my daughter isn’t digging the peanut buttery taste from the chicken I know she’ll at least dig the sweetened soy noodles, which has veggies in it! To begin this recipe, I boiled the noodles first and then chilled them.  You can use a rice noodle, udon, soba, you name it, it can be used.  One of the coolest…

Want to top your friends beer can chicken recipe, then this Manwich® marinated beer can chicken is exactly what you should make.       Marinate the chicken for 4 hours in Manwich® and then it’s as simple as placing it on a 16-ounce beer can and cooking on medium heat on the grill.  To make sure the flames stay down, place the chicken and beer onto a cast iron skillet.       While you can eat this as is, feel free to pull the chicken and serve it up with some roasted peppers and onions on a hoagie…

Southwest Turkey Burger with Guacamole and Chipotle Mayo

As a family we are always hanging out in the back yard and grilling up some delicious food!  In the summer time we like to try new things, like new bbq recipes or new burger recipes, so I decided to make an insanely delicious turkey burger.  I was looking for a little kick in the spice department so I whipped up a really tasty chipotle mayo, that honestly would have been ridiculously tasty with some fries, but instead I dumped it all over my burger J.  In addition, the the chipotle mayo I made a really good guac recipe to…
