Bone in pork chops

Olive oil

Fresh thyme

Unsalted butter

Baked apples

Sea salt and pepper


Make the ½ recipe for baked apples and keep warm.


Season the pork chops on both sides with salt and pepper.


Add the olive oil to a large frying pan over high heat.


Once it begins to lightly smoke, add in the pork chops and turn the heat down to medium-high heat.


Add in the butter and thyme and cook for 7-8 minutes per side or until golden brown and the desired internal temperature is achieved.
