Cream cheese frosting is a popular dessert topping or filling.  It offers unique flavors that pair up well with fall cakes and desserts, like a pumpkin roll.

Ingredients:

Cream Cheese

Powdered Sugar

Unsalted Butter

Vanilla Extract

Salt

Add the softened cream cheese and butter to a stand mixer and whip on high speed until it becomes light and fluffy.

Pour in the sugar, vanilla, and salt and whip at low speed until incorporated, and then turn to high speed and whip until it is completely combined and smooth.
