Honey Butter Recipe

This super easy-to-make honey butter recipe comes together in minutes and goes well on bread and proteins to help take them to the next level.

I make compound butter like this one pretty often because they go so great on so many things.


– softened unsalted butter – honey – sea salt

In a medium-sized bowl, whisk together all of the ingredients until they are combined.

Cover and store in the refrigerator until it is ready to be used.

Store covered in the refrigerator for up to 3 weeks. Freeze covered for up to 6 months. 

To get the honey to pour easier, simply heat it in a microwave-safe bowl for 20 to 30 seconds.

My suggestion is to pull the butter out at room temperature for 1 hour and let it soften slightly so that it is easy to apply to food.
