Easy Mint Sauce Recipe

This tasty easy-to-make mint sauce recipe comes together in minutes and is the perfect balance of fresh, umami, and sweet.

– fresh mint with leaves and stems – distilled vinegar – honey – hot boiling water

Finely mince the fresh mint and add it to a medium-sized bowl.

Next, add in the vinegar and honey.

Begin to stir the sauce while very slowly pouring in some hot boiling water 1 to 2 teaspoons at a time until it becomes a thick sauce like consistency and the ingredients are combined.

Adjust the sweetness level to your liking with more honey. Optionally season with salt. Store or serve.

You can make this mint sauce up to 3 days ahead of time. Keep it covered in the refrigerator.
