Ingredients

For the Mayonnaise:

  • ½ cup of mayonnaise
  • ¼ cup of shredded asiago cheese
  • 2 tablespoons of chopped fresh basil
  • 1 tablespoon of white wine vinegar
  • Kosher salt and fresh cracked pepper to taste

For the Sandwich:

  • 16 strips of crispy cooked Butterball® Turkey Bacon
  • 4 assorted heirloom tomatoes thinly sliced
  • 4 fried eggs
  • 4 leaves of butter leaf lettuce
  • 1 thinly sliced seeded and peeled avocado
  • 6 slices of toasted artisan bread
  • 4 slices of cheddar cheese
  • Kosher salt and fresh cracked pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Mayonnaise: Mix together all of the ingredients in a medium sized bowl and keep cool.
  • To Plate: Spread a thin layer of the asiago-basil mayonnaise on the bottom of a sliced of toasted Artisan bread and then a sliced of cheddar cheese. Next place on a leaf of lettuce followed up with ¼ of the assorted sliced tomatoes. Add on a ¼ of the avocado slices and season with salt and pepper. Add on 4 slices of crispy turkey bacon followed up with 1 fried egg and a slice of toasted artisan bread. Repeat the same process to make a triple decker Ultimate BLT with Heirloom Tomatoes and Asiago Basil Mayonnaise.
