Grilled Turkey Burger Recipe with Pineapple

Let me start by saying this Grilled Turkey Burger Recipe with Pineapple SOIGNE video was intense.  HOWEVER, it’s easy to pull off when you aren’t trying to constantly move a camera around and focus, set up the shot, etc.  It was just tough to do for a video because there were so many different scenes.  Ok I know you didn’t come to this page to here me talk about video production.  This Grilled Turkey Burger Recipe with Pineapple with Bourbon Brown Sugar Bacon and Sweet Onion Fries is redangdiculous.  Wasn’t anything in particular that I was pulling inspiration from other than I wanted to eat a killer turkey burger with bacon and pineapple.  Obviously I went the extra mile with the bourbon brown sugar bacon, but none the less it was simple and tasty.  My favorite part about this entire recipe are the fries.  You know those Hawaiian style chips that Krunchers makes that says they have sweet onion in them?  Yeah, I did that in french fries and they’re flipping good, you should make them.  So with out further a due check out my latest SOIGNE [swan-yay] video for Grilled Turkey Burger Recipe with Pineapple.

Try this amazing Grilled Turkey Burger Recipe with Pineapple and Bourbon Brown Sugar Bacon. Learn how to make sweet onion french fries.
For the Burger:
  • ½ pound of pork belly cut into ½" inch thick by 1" inch long pieces
  • ¼ cup of bourbon
  • ¼ cup of brown sugar
  • 4 thickly sliced pieces of fresh pineapple
  • 2 pounds of ground turkey meat formed into 8 ounce patties
  • Kaiser rolls
  • 4 butter leaf lettuce pieces
  • 4 slices of mozzarella cheese
  • 4 tablespoons of olive oil
  • Kosher salt and fresh cracked pepper to taste
For the Fries:
  • 3 potatoes cut into fry like slices
  • 1small diced large sweet onion
  • ½ ounce of unsalted butter
  • 1 tablespoon of sugar
  • Kosher salt and fresh cracked pepper to taste
  1. Bacon: In a large saute pan on medium high heat add in the bacon and brown on one side (3 to 4 minutes).
  2. Flip them over and deglaze with bourbon and add in the brown sugar and gently stir. Finish the bacon in the oven on 350° for 10 minutes.
  3. Burger: Once the patties are formed and the pineapple has been sliced coat them on all sides with olive oil and season only the turkey meat.
  4. Place the turkey on a hot grill (450° to 550°) and cook on each side for 6 to 7 minutes or until it is browned on the outside and cooked through out. Finish by adding on cheese
  5. After you flip the turkey burger for the first time, add on the pineapple and grill to form grill marks.
  6. Once it is cooked remove from the heat and let rest for 2 to 3 minutes.
  7. Fries: In a large saute pan on medium heat with butter, add in the onions and caramelize (15 to 25 minutes). Add in the sugar after a few minutes to help sweeten and brown. Keep warm.
  8. Next add the fries to a deep fryer on 350° and cook until golden brown (6 to 8 minutes). Once they are brown, drain the oil, add them to a bowl and toss with the caramelized onions, salt and pepper.
  9. To Plate: place down the bun and stack on the lettuce, burger, pineapple and bacon. Serve alongside the fries.
