Cayman Jack Margaritas All Summer

Hands down my favorite point in the week comes at around 7:30 pm on Friday night. My daughter has just gone to sleep, work is done for the week and the weekend is finally here, and it’s time to sip on an adult beverage. As the weather gets nicer the beverages sort of transition to something a little more summery, which in our case means margaritas. We recently picked up a 6 pack of Cayman Jack to enjoy our Friday night with. I mean there is nothing better than the sun going down on a 75° degree day and an ice cold margarita, nothing!

As a chef and former bartender I’m not going to lie, I’m some times hesitant to purchase premade drinks, well because I like to make them myself. However I was pleasantly surprised by just how delicious they were. In all honestly I’m not sure I could have made them any better. The perfect combination of lime citrus to tequila was spot on and balanced enough that you could enjoy 2 of them with ease. While being on the other side, I sometimes get annoyed when I order a margarita and it’s 90% booze or 90% sweet and sour mix, so it was incredibly refreshing to have the perfect flavor combo.

In addition to the flavor being spot on, who on earth wants to take the time to buy all of the ingredients, not-too-mention go through the trouble of making them on a Friday evening after a wild week? That’s right no one, especially if you are a parent. Simply pop the top, pour over some ice in a salted rim mug and you are good to start sipping.

Also since the base is so solid and tasty it’s easy to add a few simple flavorings to change the dynamic of delicious Cayman Jack to a watermelon or perhaps raspberry. All you need to do is add in some syrup, homemade of course, as well as a sugar rim instead of a salted rim and you’re good to go.

Whether there are flavors added to Cayman Jack or are enjoyed by themselves, they are perfect to bring to an outside get together to spice things up a bit. They are also such a nice change from the normal drinks, and they honestly can add that extra bit of umph to your next shindig. I’m a fan!
