21 Days of Healthy Eating

First off, I don’t want you to freak out about the title of this post.  I am not leaving my bread and butter of simple creations chef inspired, but am merely embarking on a 21 day challenge of clean eating and exercise.  One of our good friends Jess, which you can like her Facebook page at www.facebook.com/YOURfitlifewithjess, has been in my ear about doing her 21 day fix challenge.  So after 6 months or so of saying that I will do it, I finally cracked and signed up!  I’m doing this more for me to get the motivation to get back in the gym on a steady basis, and when you get daily inspiration from Jess on eating right and working out, it begins to change your attitude.  I’ve known Jess for about 6 years and she has always been in really good shape and always promotes healthy eating.  I always joke with her husband that he better not get out of line or else Jess is comin for him haha.

It’s no lie that I was in the best shape of my life when I was single.  Now that I am married and have a kid time is precious and can be hard to come across when you are looking to go to the gym or even cook.  For the next 21 days I am going to be making some really, REALLY healthy meals that are portioned smaller than you may be used to.  Really as Americans we overeat our brains out, and this plan helps get you back on track.  While recipes have been provided, you know I have to take a stab at creating some on my own, so for the next 3 weeks you are going to see some very healthy, clean eating recipes on my site.  I just wanted to warn you and let you know this is temporary and not the new mainstay, just merely 21 Days of Healthy Eating.

This is definitely a challenge for me physically and professionally since I cook for a living, but I’ve got some great ideas already brewing.  If you are looking to shed a few pounds, eat better and see some results within 3 weeks, then do it with me?!  Check out Jess’s site at www.fitlifewithjess.com or you can email her at fitlifewithjess@gmail.com to get started.  Once you see Jess’s results on her Facebook page and website, it will be motivation enough to want to give it a try.
