Sloppy Joe Marinated Beer Can Chicken

manwich-chicken-preview

Want to top your friends beer can chicken recipe, then this Manwich® marinated beer can chicken is exactly what you should make.       Marinate the chicken for 4 hours in Manwich® and then it’s as simple as placing it on a 16-ounce beer can and cooking on medium heat on the grill.  To make sure the flames stay down, place the chicken and beer onto a cast iron skillet.       While you can eat this as is, feel free to pull the chicken and serve it up with some roasted peppers and onions on a hoagie…

Southwest Turkey Burger with Guacamole and Chipotle Mayo

southwest-turkey-burger-preview

As a family we are always hanging out in the back yard and grilling up some delicious food!  In the summer time we like to try new things, like new bbq recipes or new burger recipes, so I decided to make an insanely delicious turkey burger.  I was looking for a little kick in the spice department so I whipped up a really tasty chipotle mayo, that honestly would have been ridiculously tasty with some fries, but instead I dumped it all over my burger J.  In addition, the the chipotle mayo I made a really good guac recipe to…

Fire Roasted Salmon with Tomato-Garlic Amoigue Sauce

salmon-moigue-preview

I’ve got breakfast and lunch covered, so now it’s time for dinner. I’m going to have to steal an old family recipe, with my twist on it of course, and add it to a simple fire roasted salmon. If you’ve never had moigue sauce, I highly recommend finding a recipe. If you’re Italian than you already know what I’m talking about, however I bet that each of your recipes are different than my family’s. I of course even changed the recipe that I grew up with to only include onions, garlic, whole peeled tomatoes, lemon zest, soy sauce, and extra…

Tomato-Soy Shakshuka with Grilled Salmon

shakshuka-preview

I’m sure at this point you’re thinking to yourself what could you possibly make with all that for breakfast? Easy! It’s actually one of my favorite dishes known as shakshuka. Traditionally it’s an Israeli dish that consists of a spicy tomato stew and eggs, but you know I can’t keep things simple and always have to change’em up :-). One of the coolest parts about this dish is that I made the entire thing outside on the grill. Remember to bring your cast iron skillet and first roast up the sweet onions and garlic, and then add in your whole…

Salmon Cake Sliders with Tomato-Lemon Sauce

salmon-cake-sliders-preview

Continuing the usage of the same ingredients to create three dishes, I was able to make some really good grilled salmon cake sliders with a tomato garlic lemon sauce. Leveraging the same techniques as the shakshuka I roasted up some garlic in a cast iron skillet right on the grill grates, and then added in whole peeled tomatoes, lemon zest, a little salt and pepper and let it stew. To make the salmon cakes, dry out some of the rolls you plan on using to make these sliders, in the oven on 325° for 25 to 30 minutes. Once they…
